Responsible Gaming

Gambling is entertainment with a cost attached. These tools keep that cost where you decided it should be.

Limits tighten the moment you set them and only relax after a 24-hour cooling period. That asymmetry is deliberate: it means a decision made calmly cannot be undone in a bad moment.

Signs worth taking seriously

  • Betting more than you planned, or more often than you planned
  • Chasing a loss with a larger stake to get back to even
  • Gambling with money set aside for rent, bills, food or debt
  • Borrowing, selling possessions or hiding transactions to keep playing
  • Playing to escape stress, boredom, anxiety or low mood
  • Lying to family or friends about time or money spent
  • Feeling restless or irritable when you try to cut down

Three or more of these appearing together is a reason to set a limit today, not next month.

Blocking software

Self-exclusion at one operator does not close the others. Device-level blockers such as Gamban, BetBlocker and GamBlock cover thousands of gambling sites and apps at once, and BetBlocker is free. Combining a self-exclusion with a device blocker is far more effective than either on its own.

Protecting minors

Accounts are restricted to players aged 18 or over, or 21 or over where state law requires it, and identity is verified before any payout. If a child shares your device, use parental control software and never save gambling passwords in a shared browser profile.
